Ian North (Certified Sports/Biomechanics Podiatrist)

IAN is a Podiatrist with over 25 years experience. Having completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatry from Curtin University, he has gone on to complete a post-graduate diploma in Podiatry (Curtin University) and a Masters of Medical Science (University of Western Australia) researching the effects of muscle stretching on joint mechanics. More recently Ian has completed requirements to be a Certified Sports/Biomechanics Podiatrist as examined by the Australian Podiatry Association.
Ian has held Senior Podiatry positions for the Peel and Rockingham/Kwinana Health Service a large aspect of his case load focused on diabetic foot disease as well as the Rockingham Early Intervention Centre dealing exclusively with paediatric foot pathology.
Ian’s passion and expertise in sports medicine was enhanced during his time as the team consultant podiatrist for the Fremantle Dockers (AFL) football club for over ten years. During this time he gained a wealth of invaluable experience in lower limb biomechanics and sports medicine and has worked collaboratively with sports medicine experts at the elite and sub elite level.
Ian's contribution to the profession has included lecturing undergraduate podopaediatrics, postgraduate physiotherapy students, postgraduate Doctor of Podiatric Medicine students in sports podiatry. He has been an invited speaker for lectures and workshops for Sports Medicine Australia (WA) in foot and lower limb conditions and has presented at State and National podiatry conferences.

Ian has authored and co-authored peer reviewed international journal publications in the field of foot stress fractures, running economy and arch mechanics during running.
Ian holds memberships with the Australian Podiatry Association, Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australia, Sports Medicine Australia and Australian Ultra and Trail Running Association.
Ian is a keen recreational runner himself who participates in anything from 5km Park Run, road marathons to 100 mile trail ultramarathons and is an Accredited Athletics Australia Level 1 Running Coach.

Ian provides podiatry services for you on a Wednesday and Friday.

Joanne Telford

JOANNE graduated graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2009.

She has worked in a variety of settings including Community Health, home visiting services and private practice. Through these varied experiences she has extended her knowledge to offer acupuncture and dry needling as an adjunct to her treatment.

Joanne enjoys working with clients of all ages and walks of life with a depth of experience relating to both geriatric and diabetic footcare. She has a strong focus on preventative measures.

Her professional yet gentle treatment style makes her very popular with her regular patients.

Joanne provides podiatry services for you on Monday and Thursday mornings.

Jason Lim

JASON's passion for podiatry stems from the satisfaction of helping patients achieve a fulfilling pain free life. All patients of Jason can expect a high level of client satisfaction, with compassionate and thorough consults.

Since completing a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the University of Western Australia, Jason has worked in metropolitan Perth, remote Kalgoorlie and regional Bunbury. This has provided him experience in all areas of podiatry, including chronic disease management, paediatric podiatry and sports podiatry. Jason currently provides clinical supervision to Podiatry students at the University of Western Australia.

Jason is a passionate podiatry nerd, with special interests in complex biomechanical care, heel pain, running injuries and performance optimisation. He has worked closely with orthopaedic and podiatric surgeons, providing experience in surgical triage, and post-operative rehabilitation.

Jason has also provided injury screening and rehabilitation to the Southwest Academy of Sports (Bunbury), and members of the Australian Defence Force.

Outside of the clinic, Jason is a lover of corgis, an avid runner and an infantry soldier in the Australian Army Reserves. He also provides mentoring to podiatry students, and is an active board member of the Australian Podiatry Association.

Joseph Dong

JOSEPH has worked in both private practice and aged care settings since he graduated from his Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2012.
His experience and personality allow him to competently and comfortably provide top quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. 
Joseph is highly regarded by all of his clients. They value his thorough and gentle foot care and appreciate his genuine demeaner. All of this enables him to provide a holistic, patient-focused level of care. 
His passion for his profession and participation in continuing professional development activities allows him to provide optimal results for his clients.
